Bhaktamara Stotra is a famous Jain Sanskrit prayer. It was composed by Acharya Manatunga (7th century CE). The name Bhaktamara comes from a combination of two Sanskrit names, "Bhakta" (Devotee) and "Amar" (Immortal).

Right Faith – Right faith is having a belief in a pure and perfect soul. Firm faith in God is a MUST. Right knowledge – To know the real nature of one’s soul is the right knowledge. Right knowledge should be free from doubt and indefiniteness. Right knowledge reveals the nature of things exactly as they are and with certainty.

i. Chanting of 48 Shlokas with full devotion and concentration. ii. Concentration on 48 Yantras. iii. A sprinkling of holy water of Yantra on the forehead and eyes after doing Abhishek (bath) of Yantra. iv. Reciting the 48th Mantra 108 times daily with either cloves or almonds or Akshat (rice). v. Organising a Vidhan on 7th or 21st day by reading all 48 Verses, Mantras and Riddhi.

a. Plain rice grains, as well as rice grains coated with sandalwood paste, known as ‘Akshat’ and ‘Pushp’ respectively. b. Small square pieces of dry coconut and the same pieces coated with sandalwood paste (‘Naivedya’ & ‘Deep’) c. Dhoop or clove to be sprinkled on heated coal or on ignited wood so that fragrance is spread in the atmosphere. d. Lighting of Lamp – Offering hymns to Lord by singing and rotating the lamp. e. Offering dry fruits like Almond, Cashew, dry dates, pistachio, etc.
